MSc/PGDip/PGCert in Haematopathology by distance learning

The distance-learning course in haematopathology is run by the Epidemiology & Genetics Unit at the
University of York, in conjunction with the Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service Leeds Teaching
Hospitals NHS Trust. This Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) based course runs from October each
year on a part-time basis taking up to 5 years. The course is pertinent to haematology staff working
in clinical or research setttings e.g. Clinical Scientists, Biomedical Scientist, Specialist
Registrars etc. who wish to specialise in haematopathology.

MSc in Health Sciences (Cancer Epidemiology)

The MSc Health Sciences (Cancer Epidemiology) is a taught masters programme which aims to equip student with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research in the field of cancer epidemiology. The course will cover the determinants and biology of cancer, as well as methods in health services research.
The MSc can be undertaken over one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) and will be of interest to science and social science graduates and health care professionals, and to people from any health-related background interested in the application of research methods in the area of cancer epidemiology.
