Welcome to the Epidemiology & Genetics Unit (EGU)
The Epidemiology & Genetics Unit (EGU) is a multi-disciplinary team of researchers based in the
Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. The major research focus is cancer epidemiology, in particular the
determinants, prognosis and treatment of haematological malignancies and childhood cancers.
The relationship between infectious exposure and cancer is a cross-cutting theme, with other
research interests including the epidemiology of adverse reproductive events and method development.
